Life Time Athletic Country Club to Open in Seven Pines

Life Time, a renowned athletic country club, has acquired an 8.5-acre plot in the Seven Pines master-planned community for $8.2 million to establish its first Jacksonville, Florida location. This new facility will mark the sixth Life Time Athletic Country Club in the state of Florida. 

Situated at the intersection of Butler and Kernan Boulevards, the two-story, 85,000-square-foot club will feature an impressive 50,000-square-foot outdoor beach club complete with a lap and leisure pool, waterslide, lesson pool, outdoor bistro, and relaxing lounge seating. Members will also enjoy eight outdoor pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, group fitness studios, a basketball court, and luxurious locker rooms with spa amenities. Life Time's commitment extends beyond physical fitness. The club will offer a Life Time Kids Academy for children aged 3 months to 11 years, fostering a holistic approach to health and well-being.

Life Time is already a well-established presence in Florida with existing clubs in Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Miami, and Palm Beach Gardens. A new location is also scheduled to open in Tampa in May.

Membership rates vary based on location. While specific details for the Tampa club are not yet available, membership options at other Florida locations include:

Boca Raton: Signature membership starting at $229/month, with discounted rates for members aged 26 and under or 65 and older.

Miami and Coral Gables: Rates start at $269 and $239/month, respectively.

Palm Beach Gardens: Rates start at $299 and $269/month, respectively.

Life Time's commitment to providing a luxurious and comprehensive wellness experience is evident in its expansive amenities and focus on community engagement. The anticipated opening of the Seven Pines location is expected to create over 150 new job opportunities.
